District Awards Information

  • AWARDS SUBMISSIONS BEGIN FEBRUARY 1, 2024
  • DEADLINE for Online Submissions:  Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 12:00 MIDNIGHT
  • Tier Levels (Number of members that were in your club on July 1 of this current Rotary year)
    • I: 1-25 members
    • II: 26-45 members
    • III: 46 or more members
  • Clubs will be recognized when each award’s expectations are met, and recognized with distinction when each awards expectations are exceeded. 
  • Each Club may submit ONE application for each award.
  • When submitting awards online, clubs will wish to collect award information before completing the online applications.
  • When submitting online, clubs may upload hyperlinks or files. Cover sheets are not required for online submissions.
  • Club award chairs or persons designated to submit the club awards online will need a Gmail account to complete the online awards submission which will include uploading supporting documents and files.

Club Administration Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best demonstrates effective internal club administration, develops fellowship among members, and utilizes club activities to advance the Objects of Rotary and fosters the Family of Rotary.

Club Bulletin Award (Monthly/Weekly)

Tier Awards Apply
This award will be based on the club bulletin as a whole – its content, its appearance, and its regularity.

Club Website Award

Tier Awards Apply
Based on a review of the club’s website. To be eligible, the clubs must submit its web address to the committee.

Community Service Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best demonstrates “Service Above Self” based on all activities/projects provided to its community.

International Service Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best exemplifies international service, especially in the promotion of understanding, goodwill and peace.

Public Image Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best uses media platforms to promote awareness of Rotary and the work of Rotarians in the community and the world. An award will be made for the best overall demonstrated achievement in Public Image.

Rotary Education Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that demonstrates the best education and speaker programs for club meetings. Education and speaker programs and education efforts are reviewed on informative, noteworthy and consistent content.

Rotary Foundation Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club which does the best job of informing and engaging its membership and its community about The Rotary Foundation and its programs.

Vocational Service Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best promotes the Object of Rotary through the work of its Members, showing (1) high ethical standards at work and (2) best use of their occupation to make an impact in the Community.

Youth Leadership Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best promotes activities which support youth participation in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards).

Youth Service Award

Tier Awards Apply
Recognizes the club that best promotes activities which encourage youth to be productive and involved citizens in their communities.

Outstanding President

This award recognizes a Rotarian who has done an outstanding job while serving as Club President during the current Rotary year

Golden Rotarian Award

Recognizes District Rotarians who have 25 years or more of continuous service as an active member and who have actively engaged in their club by doing good in the world through service above self. This recognition expresses our appreciation and honors the Rotarians who have made such a commitment to Rotary, their club, and community through Service Above Self.
